By plugging in the now-included SmartMic Mini to the 3.5mm TRRS port on the handle of the Benro 3XS, you can record high quality audio directly to your smartphone while operating your gimbal.

The Saramonic SmartMic is an ultra-compact directional condenser microphone that lets you focus on sound in front of the mic, while rejecting sound from behind and on the sides – making it ideal for focused shots. Plus, an integrated swivel enables you to point it directly at the sound you want to capture. This swivel makes it simple to switch between interview and vLog style shots. The SmartMic also features a built-in shock mount that helps you avoid recording unwanted vibration and handling noise – perfect when running around with your 3XS.
